Day 1 of Parliament’s Winter Session: PM flays Oppn for disrupting business, urges for fruitful debates

Earlier in the day, the Health Minister tweeted: ”India is committed to eliminating Kala Azar from the country by 2023. There has been a huge decline of 98.7% in Kala Azar cases.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed happiness over the declining cases of Kala Azar disease. He also shared his ‘Mann Ki Baats’ excerpts on the disease.
Responding to a tweet by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the PM said: “Encouraging trend…let us keep at it and eliminate Kala Azar. Also sharing what I had spoken on this subject during last month’s MannKiBaat.”
